Day 35: Raw Weird Food (that should have been on Bizzare Foods Korea)

Today I had a wonderful experience with real bizarre Korean food. My two friends 정아 and 다빈 took me to what appeared to be a regular restaurant, specializing in pig related cuisine. Little did I know I was about to have the strangest food I've ever had in Korea, thus far.

(my normal) Lunch at Yonsei's main cafe: 안동닭찜 An-dong style steamed Chicken
Dinner at some restaurant in Sinchon: 곱창 and 염통 which is small intestine and heart or liver?

Day 33: Post Sickness Food! No More Soup For Me!

So Recently I had a pretty bad cold and was unable to go venture away from my dorm to get food. But I'm now 100% better and my friends 정아 and 정열 took me to a fantastic restaurant in Sinchon. I believe it was called 장현진. This restaurant was superb and an excellent way to celebrate my recovery! I was getting quite unhappy with soup and dorm food.

Spicy Sauce Salad with some gelatin
대통주: A very sweet form of soju usually served in bamboo cups
Corn Appetizer
파전: Pajeon, Korean Style Pancake (SUPER GOOD) filled with shrimp, octopus, and veggies and mixed into a korean style pancake!
주먹밥 (before)
주먹밥 (after) : From the before picture you can't see the rice  but you mix it with your hands (with the provided glove) and you form small balls. It tastes like hot seasoned rice with furikake and hints of tobiko!
게란말이: It's pretty much like an eggroll with ketchup on the side
Inside the 게란말이 : Kimchi, sausage, crab/fishcake, etc
